WORK WITH BANTUFY
We are currently in post-production on a narrative feature film titled “Ludi,” which received the Oolite Arts Cinematic Residency grant and was selected to participate to IFP’s 2020 Narrative Lab and US in Progress Wroclaw. We anticipate the film to be completed in Early Spring 2021 to be screened via an event-based tour in mid-to-late 2021.
“COMMUNICATIONS PROPHET”
Bantufy, an independent film production company, is looking for a “Communications Prophet” or Marketing & Public Relations generalist to join the team as we expand operations and our project roster. Our company is small but nimble with start-up vibes.
We are looking for someone passionate about Miami and its culture, the plight of immigrants, and Haitian, Caribbean and Latin communities, to dive in to help spread the word about our company’s offerings. Bantufy was born to address the lack of authentic representation of people of color in popular media and aims to bring this content as directly as possible to audiences, removing proverbial gatekeepers who stand to dilute the message.
Candidates should ideally have both public relations and marketing knowledge, be well versed in social media, digital and email marketing, and running the general admin of a bustling PR campaign. Candidates will also lead management for both our company and our film’s social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). Familiarity with event promotion is a plus.
This is a part-time, paid temporary position for a three month period with the possibility of extension. Position is based in Miami, Florida with potential for remote work.
